Fay Rodgers-Jenkinson is passionate about children. Having none of her own, she has thrown herself wholly into the education of young children [and some at the Tertiary level at UWI Extra-Mural, at the Jamaica School of Music and at the United Theological College of the West Indies].
She enjoys the challenges of the gifted child as well as those who have a learning block of some kind, just like she did! She has NEVER met a child that cannot learn even if it’s algebra through dance, or reading through rap.
She is currently recuperating from another stroke, and we wish her a speedy recovery. Although we do not know the full extent of the costs of all the multitude of hospitalizations, surgeries and therapy sessions, this last stroke has cost in excess of J$1,000,000 in addition to the monthly medication bill of ~$60,000.
We ask for your generous help, similar to what she has provided to us an educator and an fill-in-mommy.
