Af-Am Lit Classroom Library

My name is Nathan Fulcher and I am English teacher at Santa Monica High School.  I am fortunate to teach an amazing senior elective class on African American Literature.  This class continues to inspire me on a daily basis.

In the last few years, some amazing new titles have emerged that I would love to add to my class curriculum.  Homegoing by Yaa Gyasi, March by John Lewis, Between the World and Me by Ta-Nehisi Coates are a few of the books that I would love to be able to buy full class sets of and teach to my classes.  

I find my passion everyday in seeing my students discover new ideas and to find themselves in the literature we read.  They deserve to read the best and donating to this campaign will allow me to offer that to my students.  Thank you for thinking about my students! They will be eternally grateful.
