Lincolnshire Rolling Thunder, is Lincoln's Men's Roller Derby team.
On Sunday 19th August, for the first time ever, we officially qualified for the MRDA Championships, which are being held in Salem, Oregon, USA this October.
This is the highest level tournament in Roller Derby and a huge accomplishment, and signifies the progress of UK/European teams now flying abroad to challenge the established American teams.
As you can imagine the costs involved in trying to find last minutes flights and accommodation are very high and I really need your help!
MRDA Champs has been a personal Roller Derby goal of mine ever since I started 6 years ago, The team narrowly missed out last year in the last game by only 20 points! however not this year, comfortably winning three of the four games at the European qualifiers in Halifax
Our Aim is to really put Lincoln on the Roller Derby map, we are currently ranked 12th in the world and we hope to finally break that top 10 mark!
Anything you can spare will help towards this and would be greatly appreciated!
