An exciting new theatre company, we are taking our first production to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
A contemporary dark comedy cracking open the naughty secrets and private dreams that most of us would want to keep hidden. Described as “Dylan Thomas without the nice bits”, Mr Brown Presents unveils its debut Fringe show all about the wicked private lives of a small Welsh village.
Let our cast take you on a tour of a little Welsh village and the secret thoughts of its inhabitants. The play draws heavily on Dylan Thomas's "play for voices" idea to tell multiple stories, all gathered around the theme of dark secrets.
You'll find out who the local policeman's been in love with for years, see what the librarian gets up to with her common-law husband, ask the knitting shop owner what scares her, and find out what nightmares keep the baker's light on all night...
