Mr Olympia wheelchair sponsorship

My name is Ludovic Marchand, I was in a car accident when I was 19 years old which left me in a wheelchair for life(1983) . I had very hard time and attempted suicide because I was not happy and no friends. One day I saw a guy in a wheelchair in a magazine who was into bodybuilding so I decided to train and to make a story short I went to Gold's gym in Venice from France with a picture of the gym that I saved from a french magazine and without knowing where to stay and even speak English. I had the opportunity by chance to compete in Mr Univers ABA  1992 and won  the show from then I was competing every month. I was in a tourist visa so I couldn't stay but a year later I moved to the USA (1993)and 5 years later became a US citizen. I graduated from FIDM in Los Angeles in Fashion Design but also taught Fashion Illustration. I studied at Fresno State University with a major in painting.  It has been a very long road. Now for the first time Mr Olympia will have a wheelchair category, it has been my dream to see that for all these years. Sadly I lost my job here in Thailand where I was working for a few years because the compagnie closed without any warning and also because I had to go to France to the hospital for 2 pressures sores. Now I am here but I wish to go back to USA to compete in the Mr Olympia in September in Las Vegas and hopefully later moving back to USA when my finances will get better. The money raised will be for a plane ticket and 1 week in hotel that is all I need to achieve my life time dream. I really simplified my long story but one day if I find the right person I will write a book. Thank you to all for taking the time to read this. God bless you all.

Je m'appelle Ludovic Marchand, j'ai eu un accident de voiture à l'âge de 19 ans qui m'a laissé dans un fauteuil roulant pour la vie (1983). J'ai eu beaucoup de mal et j'ai tenté de me suicider parce que je n'étais pas heureux et pas d'amis. Un jour, j'ai vu un gars en fauteuil roulant dans un magazine qui pratiquait la musculation, j'ai décidé de m'entraîner et de faire une histoire courte. Je suis allé au Gold’s gym de Venice, Californie avec une photo de la salle de sport que j'avais decoupee  d'un magazine français, sans savoir où rester et même parler anglais. J'ai eu l'opportunité par hasard de participer à Mr Univers ABA 1992 et j'ai gagné la competition à partir de ce moment-là j'étais en compétition tous les mois. J'avais un visa touriste, donc je ne pouvais pas rester, mais un an plus tard, j'ai déménagé aux États-Unis (1993) et cinq ans plus tard, je suis devenu citoyen américain. Je suis diplômé de FIDM à Los Angeles en Fashion Design et aussi enseigne également Fashion Illustration. J'ai étudié à Fresno State University avec un majeur en peinture. Cela a été une très longue route. Maintenant, pour la première fois, M. Olympia aura une catégorie de fauteuil roulant, ce fut mon rêve de le voir pendant toutes ces années. Malheureusement j'ai perdu mon boulot ici en Thaïlande où je travaillais depuis quelques années car la compagnie a ferme sans avertissement et aussi parce que je devais aller en France à l'hôpital pour 2 escarres. Maintenant, je suis ici mais je souhaite retourner aux Etats-Unis pour participer à l'Olympia en Septembre à Las Vegas et, espérons-le, revenir aux Etats-Unis quand mes finances s'amélioreront. L'argent amassé sera pour un billet d'avion et une semaine à l'hôtel, c'est tout ce dont j'ai besoin pour réaliser le rêve de vie. J'ai vraiment simplifié ma longue histoire mais un jour, si je trouve la bonne personne, je vais écrire un livre. Merci à tous d'avoir pris le temps de lire ceci. Que Dieu vous bénisse tous.
