Hello, it is with such a heavy heart that I write this. My father, Ly Thao Nyia Yi, was loved by many. His pure heart touched everyone he met. His smiles and laughter will be missed forever. He left us too soon and without saying goodbye. He will not only be missed by his family and friends, but by the many loyal customers he had in San Mateo and all over the Bay Area and Central Valley.

On Saturday, August 25th while driving his box truck from the College of San Mateo Farmers' Market, he was involved in a fatal car accident at 2:20pm on the eastbound 92 San Mateo Bridge. He was on his way to pick up his wife who was selling vegetables at the Union City Farmers' Market. From there, they were supposed to come home. My dad never made it.

Please pray for our family during this time. We don't know what to do without our dad. We miss him so much, we are so heartbroken by his sudden death. If you would like to donate, we would greatly appreciate  and remember it always.

Ly King Nyia Yi

Hello CSM customers,
We will be selling at the San Mateo College Farmers' Market this Saturday. Please come out and support us as we sell the vegetables our papa harvested this year. It will be bittersweet, but we're sure it's what he would have wanted. Also, we'd like to say thank you to those who supported us throughout these years and for the generous donations to my father's funeral. I'm sure my father is looking down on us with the biggest smile.
