Here’s an update at last!
Following surgery, it was determined by the medical team that Mr. Brantseg begin a six-month long chemo treatment schedule. He began his treatments on May 16, and has been responding well. Every Tuesday he travels for treatment at UC Davis Cancer Center in Sacramento, CA. This happens for three weeks at a time and then he has a week without chemo to rest. All scans done post-surgery so far are looking very good!
Mr. Brantseg will be returning to work on a very part-time basis to continue to help pay for mounting medical bills.
Mr. Brantseg is happy with his treatment at the hospital under the care of Dr. Edward Jae-Hoon Kim, M.D. He also is staying active and tries to do something out of the house every day, such as going to the hanger to work on his plane or teaching one class of Tae Kwan Do per week.
Thank you all for the continued support, positive thoughts, and prayers! Even though we have come so far, the bills are arriving regularly and the road ahead is still long. He is committed to healing. Let’s continue to support Mr. Brantseg through this challenge of a lifetime!
