Bioness L300 Brace for Multiple Sclerosis

My mother Stacy has struggled with Multiple Sclerosis most of my adult life. For many years her strength, endurance, and spirit kept her focused and strong to keep pushing through many of the challenges that life presented her living with Multiple Sclerosis. Since 2016 my mother has essentially been housebound. Without the ability to the things able-bodied people do with relative ease. We've tried different medications, physical therapy and dietary regulations but nothing has helped her regain what she has lost from the attack.

My mother has done thorough research on HSCT and has decided that the chemotherapy that is given to essentially make the immune system forget it has MS and the fact that this is still not proven 100% to work, my mother went to try an electrical stimulation system that indeed rebuilds muscle and nerve response. This system is called The Bioness L300.

Although I started this donation as HSCT my mother feels after trying the Bioness product that she will be able to regain her ability to walk without a walker and return to her once daily activities.

The Bioness is not covered by insurance and is quite expensive. $10,000.00 plus a yearly expense of the internal pads that conduct the current to the nerves, which is $500.00 a year. The Bioness strengthens the muscles by stimulating the nerves and helps rewire the pathways
in the damaged parts of the brain. The more you use it (which would be every day in my mom’s case) the stronger the leg becomes.
