"I got a tennis ball in my belly!"
Hi, everyone! My name is Toby and I'm a 11 months old rescued golden retriever originally from South New Jersey. And I'm a former visiting member of GoldenRatio!
I love many things! I love everyone on the street, all the dogs I met at dog parks, playing fetch, walking, toys, and carrots.. Among all of them, one of my favorite things is tennis balls! And guess what: I have a lump on my body that looks just like a tennis ball!
It was a day when my mommy said it was her birthday! I don't know what a birthday is exactly since I never had one before, but it ain't a good thing!! My mom looked very worrying and sad. She took me to an emergency room. The vet said it is a very rare symptom and she needs to conduct surgery in order to figure out what this lump is. And she also discovered I have an unrelated heart issue so I needed to meet a cardiologist to inspect my heart. Luckily, my heart is safe for now but they said my mommy has to keep her eye on my heart since my blood flows with an unusually fast speed compared to other dogs! My mommy said she can't take me to a dog park and I should stay in my cage to recover. It is boring and frustrating staying home whole day.
My mom said she is going to make me an office dog once I'm recovered. She is a student at MIT and my mom said many people will pat me and play with me! I can't wait to get better!!
