Amaya Pike

Amaya is a 14 year old who attends Big Lake High School as a 9th grader.  She had a serious accident on Wednesday, September 30th where she fell from a Tree Fort while hanging out at a friends house.  
She was rushed to the hospital where it was discovered that she had a broken neck, concussion, and a contused lung.  She was transferred to the ICU at Children's Hospital in Minneapolis and ultimately had a halo placed.  She will have to wear the halo for approximately 6-8 weeks. 
Amaya and her family know that she has a long road to recovery and would appreciate any amount of help.  Her mother works 2 jobs and with Amayas condition, it would be very helpful if she could stay home and care for her.
