Circus Dreams for Wunderle Girls

Hi!

We are Emily and Ariana Wunderle and are hoping to help our parents financially, by raising some funds towards our circus tuition that we owe for being accepted into Circus Smirkus this summer. 

A bit about us: We have literally "grown-up" in the circus ring. With both our parents involved in the business, our summers entailed helping in and out of the circus ring since we were toddlers. We grew up among many talented youth who we considered our older brothers and sisters each summer.

Our current circus training happens at NECCA (New England Center for Circus Arts) while we are not traveling in the summer with Circus Smirkus.  At NECCA we have many very talented, creative  and supportive coaches that help keep our circus skill sets polished. They challenge us and prepare us for the opportunity to perform with Smirkus each summer.

In January we both auditioned for a chance to perform in the Smirkus ring again this summer (see our audition videos below) and were both acccepted to be 2015 troupers with Vermont's own Circus Smirkus .

Each year it is a great honor to be chosen to be apart of the troupe -  so many talented youth, ages 10-18 audition each year and competition is tough. Only 30 are selected out of hundreds that apply. We are SO grateful for the opportunity to continue to travel and experience another summer with our Smirkus family.

Circus Smirkus is a non-profit organization that was founded back in 1987. Both of our parents are employed by the company and give so much time and dedication to the staff and troupers each year. They truly LOVE Smirkus and believe in the mission of the organization fully.

Even though our parents work for the company, we still have to pay our tuition to help cover the cost of what it entails to make the tour happen each summer. The tuition for each trouper is $6,450. With BOTH of us attending this summer, we are hoping that friends, family and supporters of Smirkus would consider helping and supporting our dream by assisting us in raising a part of our tuition to help our parents out.

Your donation will allow us the opportunity to be 2 of those 30 youth troupers that will be entertaining thousands of families in the New England area this summer.  Please consider sharing our story with your friends and family to help us spread the word about why Circus Smirkus is so special to us and why we call it our home away from home each summer!
