Move Channel 4 To The New Tower
As you may or may not know by now, The City of Swan have now Decommissioned the Mast that UHF CB Repeater 4 - PER04 Millendon has been mounted on in since its inception in 2008.
In its place City of Swan (COS) have erected a NEW stand alone Tower, directly adjacent to the old mast.
At this stage we are waiting on final Lease Agreement Documents from the City of Swan to put the repeater on the New Tower BUT we have been granted a preliminary approval to mount our Antenna at 45m on the New Tower.
In Order to mount our 4 bay folded dipole array on the NEW Tower at 45m with NEW LDF550 and connectors plus lightning arrester and everything associated with the installation we have been Quoted $3052 +GST by The City of Swan's Contractor Rigging Company (MetroWest) who are carrying out the works.
I will let everyone know, as soon as I hear from the City of Swan regarding our lease arrangement.
Hopefully we with everyone's help we will be able to raise the funds required to mount the Equipment on the NEW Tower.

UPDATE NOVEMBER 2018
It appears our lease agreement has finally been approved, however the COS will now charge the NRA
$750+GST Per year for site rental. (Which will increase by 3% per year)
In Addition The NRA must maintain a yearly 20 Million Dollar Public Liability Insurance (PLI) a Cost of $243.36

The Lease Agreement Is Finally Official & Our Lease Begins On The 15th of December 2015, The Riggers Due To
Mount The Antenna On The 16th of December. Merry Christmas!

The Invoice for mounting the folded dipole array on the tower from Metro West has arrived, it has come in a little cheaper than first expected which is good, BUT we really have to get some funds rolling in now if we want to keep the repeater operational.
