Motorcycle Therapy

Motorcycle Therapy Mission : To provide a virtual motorcycle riding program to hospitals/clinics that empowers and inspires individuals to recover and discover their abilities.  I have received a grant of a virtual motorcycle riding device that I have modified for use in hospitals and long term care facilities. I did not receive any operating funds. The equipment allows patients to use real motorcycle controls and ride through a virtual landscape excercising cognitive and physical abilities and it's fun! I have already set up a pilot program at NC Veterans Home and have been providing the program as part of a recreation therapy/activities program...its been a success!
