Motor Vehicle for The Mertens

If you're reading this, you know The Mertens' are some of the most wonderful humans to ever grace the planet, and they are looking to buy a car to help getting Grace around for treatment.
Getting about for Grace is going to be very difficult once treatment starts so they will probably need something big enough to transport a wheelchair, which is where you come in!
We are hoping to raise close to €15,000 (about $24kAUD) so they can buy a suitable car without needing the added pressure of repaying a loan.
$5 or $500- it will all help towards easing financial stress in this challenging chapter.
Grace's condition is Leptomeningeal Spread, and is an incredibly serious cancer. We know this family are fighters and have some of the best treatment available to them in The World. Your contribution will make an important practical difference for a family we all love.

About me: my name is Jess Willoughby and I live in Shepparton Victoria, Australia. I set up this page after a conversation with other friends and family of The Mertens as a practical way to help after hearing of Graces recent diagnosis. I have known Elissa and Hayden for almost 20 years, and have their consent to set up this page. I have their direct bank account details and once raised $10k AUD, will start to withdraw funds to them directly. The Mertens plan to use the funds to assist in buying a car to assist in transporting Grace to and from her treatment, which will help ease the logistical challenges associated, and hopefully make Grace more comfortable in the process.
