Mother's Day at CHLA

I'm hosting a Mother's Day Celebration at Children's Hospital Los Angeles this Friday, May 11.

I wanted to do a little something for the exhausted and uncertain moms who are sleeping next to their little ones in a hospital. 

These women are tired and stressed and worried about their babies and I want to give them a couple hours of care. 

I've wrangled DryBar for blowouts and Olive and June for manicures. The Drop donated cans of rose for each mom and I'll also provide them each with some baked goods and flowers. 

It might seem a little trivial, but a blowout and a manicure might just help them feel a little normal and CLEAN in an uncertain time. I know from my time in that hospital, I would've LOVED for someone to wash my hair.

We're going to take care of the moms in the NICU and the Cardiology floor (that's where Billy lived) this year and if we can make this a success, I hope to grow it each year and eventually do this for every mom in that hospital.
