Mother fighting Bell's Palsy

Donation protected
On Tuesday December 13th my life changed in a way that most can not relate. My mom came home from work feeling very ill, she barley had the strength to drive home. She was complaining of dizziness and nausea also a sharp pain in her left ear. When she made it home safe I got a look at her face and I was in shock, the left side of her face was completely different. Her lips were drooped, speech was slurred and feeling as if she wanted to pass out. My mom being the strong woman that she is wanted to sleep it off but as the symptoms worsened I got her up and drove to the ER. As soon as we walked in we talked to a women behind the desk and moments after she called over the PA "possible stroke". Two nurses came to her aid and rushed to my mom into a room. They sat her down started checking her vitals and running blood test, her blood pressure was in the 220s she was sweating and looked very pale. We got a room in about 5-10 minutes, after we got in the room they took her to get a CAT scan thankfully nothing was shown to wrong. But after they gave her more test they decided to give her 2 types of medicine to drop her blood pressure. I'd say about 15 minutes after they gave her the medicine she told me she felt as if she was going to faint, I ran out to tell a nurse and when we got back to the room the heart monitor was beeping and lights were flashing. Her blood pressure dropped to 132 She didn't pass out but it took her 5 minutes to come back to her senses, later in the afternoon the doctor came to tell us that they gave her TO MUCH MEDICINE!! So after all the drama my mom didn't have a stroke even though she had all the symptoms, they told us she has Bell's palsy. Which is a sudden weakness on one side of the face and which maybe cause due to high blood pressure. At the end we don't have any health insurance due to my mom losing her old job and her new job does not provide any. I recently quit my job at Walgreens because I am leaving at the end of the year to San Diego California for Marine boot camp, so I won't be here to help and support her for awhile. She is working on getting insurance but that will not cover the cost of the ER visit. She's paid for some it but has no idea how she'll pay for the rest of it. I made this Go fund me account to help my mom through this difficult time and asking for anyone who's willing to make a donation to please do and spread the word of our misfortune.
