Mortensen family fire tragedy

On the night of July 18th, 2018, our family home of 40 years was totally destroyed in a devastating fire.  Although firefighters were on the scene quickly and thankfully, no one was injured in the blaze, my sister and 85- year-old mother were only able to get out of the house with nothing but the clothes on their backs.  The basics we rely on every day; wallets, credit cards, identification, car keys, medications, were left behind in the rush to escape.  We lost every memento of our family, every piece of clothing, every belonging accumulated over a lifetime in that house.  Everything is gone.  
  
While the firefighters  and fire insurance company sift through the ashes, we are reaching out to our community to help us get through the immediate aftermath of the blaze.  The rebuild process is likely to be long, and in the interim we are asking for help in meeting the basic necessities  until we can start to rebuild our lives.  

Any contributions will go toward providing the basics: food, clothing and shelter.  My mother just turned 85 and requires 24 hour care and medication.  My sister lost not just her home and belongings, but also her business providing trauma therapy.  They could both use some support to get them through this next phase.
