After losing her mother to breast cancer during her freshman year of high school, Morgan had to leave home and live with her aunt; her father has not provided any financial or emotional support for Morgan since that time. Despite these odds, with hard work and help from St. John’s School and other concerned parties, Morgan earned a prestigious merit scholarship to Agnes Scott College. Unfortunately, she still faces a financial gap of $19,500 for medical insurance and academic expenses not covered by the scholarship. Her father has repeatedly declined to submit the requisite financial information necessary to qualify for school and federal financial aid to cover the difference.
Morgan has some small savings from a part time job, but cannot front the nearly $20,000 it will take to enroll at Agnes Scott.
Morgan has come so far, and can cross the finish line with our support. Please help this young woman make a positive new start in a new place. She is entirely grateful for any and all support offered. Thank you.
