Montez Family

On July 22, 2018, a deadly apartment fire broke out, our wrestling family was affected by this tragedy and lost all their possessions, and not only did they lose all their physical possessions they lost a good friend named Margaret.  Margaret bravely woke Noemi’s mom Cynthia and her younger sister to get them out, she also tried to let the animals out so that they could get to safety.  Sadly, Margaret was overtaken and tragically lost her life trying to save others.  Cynthia had to jump from the 3rd story window and ended up breaking her neck and is in critical condition.  Noemi’s sister was in critical condition due to also jumping out of the 3rd story window and smoke inhalation she was finally released today but this entire family is struggling to understand how any of this can happen but now they must also try to find a way to live with no home, no clothes, nothing….


As the entire family reels from this tragedy and prays that their mother Cynthia can fight to survive they are also having to face the reality of arranging where they will live.

This has affected our Skyview Family deeply and we'd like to ask for your generosity to help our wrestling family with the inevitable funeral of Margaret and medical expenses that come with any tragedy of this magnitude.
