Moore Haven Football

Moore Haven Middle-High School is located in beautiful Glades County Florida. The school provides grades 6-12 and has around 500 students between these seven grades. While this rural town has a small population, its citizens are some of the kindest, hardworking, generous individuals around. This gofundme is on behalf of our high school's football program. Last year, our varsity team had a record breaking year going undefeated in the regular season for the first time in the history of the school. Our student athletes are tough, hardworking individuals who give it their all in every practice and game. We are truly blessed in the support that we get from our school district, local businesses, and local politicians. However even with this tremendous support from the community, the cost of running a football program is growing every year. The average helmet that is up to necessary safety codes is anywhere from $300-400! Again, that would be the cost of ONE helmet. Shoulder pads and girdles are no different. With safety being my number one priority as a coach, you can see why this fundraiser is so important. All we ask is that you donate what you can. Any amount will help these boys, and every dollar you donate will go back to the team in the form of safety equipment, travel expenses, cost of officials, team meals, and all other expenses that come with running a program.
