Montgomery Legion Elevator Campaign

The Montgomery Branch 351 of the Royal Canadian Legion is focusing on a new way of raising funds in support of our mission. The Montgomery Legion Branch can trace its beginnings all the way back to 1944.  We have a long and rich history engaging, involving and supporting Veterans in our community.  Today we continue that same tradition of supporting our Veterans and engaging the community.  The role we play in building community and taking care of our Veterans is dependent on accessibility.  Without the use of an elevator in our building, some of our most vulnerable members and Veterans would be negatively impacted.  The Montgomery Legion’s elevator is aging and we unexpectedly must replace it before the end of 2019.  The anticipated cost to replace the elevator is approximately $200,000.00.
