Who Are We?
Monique A. Robinson and Alex Rivers are the founders of NiQue Works Entertainment. NWE seeks to use it's innugral project MONI, (an electrifying web series) as the vehicle of Comedy to challenge the one-dimensional portrayal of women , spiritual individuals, and people of color in the T.V. and Film Industry.

Why is Moni different?
I wrote MONI, as a way to create opportunities for other artist and creators of color as well as display the complex and dimensional nature of diverse characters in sitcoms that are often overlooked. It is my deepest desire that MONI will be a catalyst to a dialogue about the cross-sectionality of race and gender in the entertainment and the media fields.
When I was growing up I did not see my reflection on the screen, a young brown woman with agency and I knew that I had to create it. A Hero is needed… and in this case there is no one else that can save the day, except MONI.
The Campaign
We need your vital contributions in order to bring season one of MONI to life. In order to have an incredible crew, cast, and amazing show, we will need your financial contributions towards our $18,000 production goal. The funds for production will cover:
· Production cast & crew members
· Procuring equipment
· Editing; sound; music
· Internet marketing funds
· Production design
· Wardrobe
· Insurance and legal fees
· Crafts services
