Monica Barrick Fundraiser

Monica Barrick is a caring wife, mother of 2, and beloved math teacher at Mineral Wells High School. Recently, she has been diagnosed with ovarian cancer, and has begun chemotherapy treatments in order to rid her of the terrible disease. As you can imagine, this is a very hard time for the Barrick family both emotionally and financially. To try and help them in any way we can, Mineral Wells High School Baseball is putting together an alumni baseball game in order to raise money for her family. The game will be held Saturday, June 3rd at 3:00 in the afternoon and is open to any graduated Mineral Wells baseball player or coach. The game will also have a silent auction, T-shirt sales, and a whole assortment of food. We are asking many businesses around the area who know the Barrick family personally, or would just like to help out a great cause for donations to help us put the game on and hopefully make a sizeable donation to the Barrick family. Any donation is greatly appreciated, and donors over $100 will be displayed on a sign in front of the field during the game for everyone in attendance to acknowledge. All donors will be read aloud over the intercom during the game. All proceeds raised will go directly towards the Barrick family and a check will be presented during the game with the amount raised.
