Germantown Library- Children's Area

We are the MOMS Club of Germantown West, a support group for moms in Germantown, WI, and we love the Germantown library!
As part of the Germantown community, we strongly believe the library is a great place to strengthen relationships between parents/caregivers and their children.
While our library has an enthusiastic staff and a fairly new facility (built in 2002), it lacks many amenities and activities in its children's area. Many of these items can be added through monetary funds. Our library staff is completely on board and excited to see our community come together for our library and our youngest community members.
Over the next two years we plan to help maximize the existing children's library space to engage our children in early literacy, fine motor development and imaginary play.
We are interested in adding computers/tablets, a train table, craft table, puzzles, educational activities, family-friendly seating, and much more! Our ideas can be seen in a presentation we shared with the library https://goo.gl/SBnZmX
We want to see our library as a place that everyone can enjoy anytime, while maintaining a fun and safe environment.
Consider making a donation today! All the money we raise for this project will go directly to our children's area library fund. We will work with the library and purchase items as our project is funded.
