Respite for me/Holiday for mom

Andrew's been looking after his mom, Bridie, who has dementia with lewy bodies (DLB), for two years. They've had fun. But: he's driving her crazy and she needs a break. She used to pop off to visit her daughter every year for a couple of weeks, but it's been impossible as her illness has been reducing her faculties. The family would like to have someone go with her so she can take a holiday--maybe one of her last--and also so that Andrew can have some respite. It's just doubling the travel expenses of the usual trip though. If you'd like to help with a donation, it will go to help Bridie and companion travel and even for Andrew to have a wee trip to the city to hang with old friends.
