Mom wrecked her only car
July 18th, less than two miles from my house, I looked away for just a second and slightly crossed the line and clipped a Public Works truck. No one else was in the car with me. He rolled but walked away without a scratch. I have no broken bones but am bruised, have a concussion and they had to cut me out of the car. I was in a motorcycle accident 5 years ago with shoulder injuries, brain injury and whip lash so this accident aggrevated it and for the first two days no one could understand my speech or text which is why I am editing this now. I had JUST put over $500 into the car for tires, ac, a battery and an alternator. I only have liability insurance so no help there and I have a child who needs transportation to a school for special needs. I am suffering with sores, abrasions and concussive synptoms. I can't not have a car. I only had liability so it will not be replaced or reimbursed nor will a rental car be provided to me.
I am in a completely desperate situation, I feel hopeless. I'm a mother of 3, pending on disability from a brain, neck and shoulder injuries from a previous accident 5 years ago. I have $400 to my name and no family, or friends who can help me. Its just me and my kids. My only income is child support approx $867 a month plus a little foodtamps.
