Molly's Fight Against Leukemia

Little Molly Dorn has started the fight of a lifetime after being suddenly diagnosed with B-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia on Tuesday of this week. In the 3 days since she was diagnosed, she has been put under for a lumbar puncture, bone marrow biopsy and line insertion for chemo.
Molly started has just started her first round of a 29 day cycle of both IV and intrathecal chemotherapy. This is just the start of a potentially long road ahead as she will require further biopsies and testing to see how she is responding to the treatment. She will spend at least two weeks in the hospital and if there are no complications, she can progress to outpatient appointments. When the next round of chemo starts, she will have to be re-admitted before it starts.
Through all the finger pokes, procedures and blood transfusions, this strong little girl has taken the last few days with a huge smile on her face. She is loving the hospital food and all the toys in the playroom. She has a fighting spirit and will beat this.
This is just the beginning of the rough road ahead for Molly and her parents, Suzanne and Matt. They are amazing parents, fully dedicated to Molly and her journey in battling this. It is difficult to determine how much time Molly will spend in hospital. We are hoping to raise some money so they can continue to focus on Molly through this difficult time, without having to worry about finances because of needing to take unpaid leave off work.
Her aunties in Vancouver are sending nothing but positive vibes and strength to Molly, Suzanne and Matt as they tackle this journey together. We hope that you can help ease some of the financial burden that the McDorns will face over the next few months as they take time off work to be with Molly.
