My name is Kanaan McGoran, I am seventeen years old and the sole owner of MNK Apparel. Coming from an entrepreneurial background that has learned to overcome obstacles in life. I have learned the concept of working hard, setting goals, and walking toward your dream no matter what comes along the way. Fashion is an outlet where I am able to create new styles and trends that incorporate comfort, style, and practical use that can be achieved for all seasons and for all reasons.
I love fashion and found it was the best way to display my personality and personal preferences. It has allowed me to show off not only my dressing style, but providing an opportunity to set trends. Instead of finding the new trends, why not physically set the bar creating my own style and trends, focusing on comfort and style, for all seasons.
The MNK Hoodie has a recognizable oversized hood with a detachable and customizable front mask that keeps you warm and your hood up while you are pursuing your awesome life activities. This Hoodie has tapered fit, three pockets, and a longline back drop. Instead of being hot one minute and cold the next, this problem is solved by using fabrics that meet the needs for all weather conditions by using adaptive and breathable materials. The three hidden pockets have been created for convenience. The hidden pocket has storage for bus passes, debit cards, and cash. The hidden arm pocket allows quick and easy access to trains and buses without having to fumble. When you’re ready to fold your hoodie away it tucks away into a useful integrated pouch.
To bring the MNK Hoodie to the market requires your help. If I raise $6500 this will help me to go to full production to launch my first line of MNK hoodies, and bringing to fruition my clothing line. My costs include grading (sizing), samples, materials, labels, production, website, photographs and a video for my marketing plan.
