Saving the Misunderstood
FHRC is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. At Forever Home Rehabilitation Center we rehabilitate, socialize and train dogs for rescues and shelter . Rescue/Shelter dogs that show fear, stress, anxiety, nervousness and cage presence that potential adopters will over look. Our organization was founded in early 2009. We have rehabilitated shelter dogs all along the east coast due to problems that appear unsolvable. Rescues and Shelters have turned to FHRC when they have run out of all options and the dog is deemed unadoptable We restore hope and prove that most dogs can, indeed, be trained, properly socialized, rehabilitated and placed in loving, understanding homes. Rescue animals pose many problems that are not always apparent to those people adopting or rescuing them. At FHRC these dogs are given a second chance. They learn proper social skills, communication with other dogs, leash training, basic commands, crate training. Most of our dogs have experienced, abuse, negelect, abandonment and will require long term additional training. We are asking for support, care, housing, food, and vet care for our dogs that require addional training to place them in their forever homes.
