BlueBoxBots goes to World's!
Donation protected
We are really excited to announce that BLUEBOXBOTS, FTC team 8907, has qualified for the WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP, to be held in St. Louis, Apr. 27th to 30th.
We are asking if you could join with us in raising the funds necessary to get our team of 7 students, their coaches and mentors, to St. Louis for the exciting 5 day event, with teams competing from all over the world.
Blueboxbots is a 'FIRST' robotics team, started last year by the efforts of FTC team 'Got Robot?' 5037. In only our second year, we are completely thrilled to have made it to the World Championship, beginning with local qualifiers, we advanced to Illinois State level where we finished 2nd, then on to the Super Regional with 13 states represented. Advancement to the World Championship puts us in the top 2% of all teams worldwide.
FTC stands for 'First Tech Challenge' and is a division of FIRST robotics (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology). The goal of FIRST
is to inspire students by creating complex robots to play a new game each year. There are many challenges in doing this, and the team has to work extremely hard to get to this level, and in doing so learns many valuable lessons about teamwork, endurance, problem solving, and, of course, science and technology.
If you can help us with a donation of any size, that would be greatly appreciated. Donations given through gofundme are not tax deductible . If you want to give a tax deductible donation of $250 or more, please contact us via our Facebook page for the procedure.
A donation of up to $250 (dalek level) will receive:
Your name/business on our tardis shaped sponsor banner.
A donation of $250 or more (K9 level) will receive:
A handwritten thank you note and team photo
Your name/business on our sponsor banner and team shirt
Thanks so much for anything you can do.
