Maya J. Randall Memorial Fund
"For I know the thoughts that I think towards you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end." Jeremiah 29:11
Thank you for visiting our webpage. Maya was a wife, mother, sister, and daughter with a passion to write. In 2009, she was diagnosed with a rare cancer, plasma cell leukemia, and after a three year battle, God called her home to be one of his angels.
Maya led such a rich life, and was driven by her illness to help bring others closer to God through her testimony. Now her family would like to continue her legacy by supporting cancer initiatives, particularly that impact young, African American women like her. In lieu of flowers, please help us advance her mission by donating to her memorial fund. We hope to use this money to start a public charity in her honor.

In our time of sorrow, it's truly rewarding to know that Maya impacted the lives of so many, and we now have the opportunity to continue on in her honor. Over the next few weeks, we will be establishing an organization that will allow us to continue to funnel resources to blood cancer research projects. Although Maya's life could not be saved, we look forward to advancing medical opportunities for other cancer survivors.
Thank you for helping us save the lives of countless others. We will be sure to keep you updated on our progress to combat cancer.
