Mitchell's surgery

Mitch has had a difficult start in life.  At 5 months of age, he was dumped by his first family.  I found him with a ruptured eye, botched home neuter, starved to near death and with gingivitis.  He also had the most loving disposition and amazing joy for life.

I fund-raised successfully for his initial surgery to fix the most urgent issues - the ruptured eye and repair to his damaged scrotum.  The gingivitis was fairly mild in comparison at the time and it didn't seem to bother him, so we decided to watch it until it required intervention. 

It is now two years later and it has become stomatitis.  His gums are red and have receded to the point where we can now see the roots of his teeth.  Below is the quote for the surgery.  Between $1,000.00 on the low end to $1,700.00 if all teeth must be removed.  My vet believes he'll need all teeth removed.  

I have $400 of the cost for the surgery so am asking for $1,300.00.  Surgery is scheduled for October 11, 2018.  


Mitchell is an amazing kitty.  He is the most loving, intelligent cat I've ever met.  He is my world.  He was horribly neglected and abused in his first home and he is so young, he deserves a long life, free of pain.
