Update Anthony is gone still in pain. The picture shows their first trip to the pharmacy!! He will be needing these meds for the next six months!! There is still along road ahead for this wonderful family!!

May 2015 this cover picture was taken at a wedding my friend Anthony and his wife Millie were attending in Jamaica, it is here where it all started. While in Jamaica Anthony became very ill, when he got home after numerous months & trips to countless doctors they found a spot on his liver through a biopsy and countless test it was determined he had Scarcoidosis. For those that don’t know this is a disease that attacks your lymph nodes and organs. Doctors really were grasping at straws trying to determine how to treat this rare disease. The only treatment they knew was to do high doses of prednisone for 9 months but the disease destroyed Anthony’s kidneys. Due to the illness, numerous hospital stays and doctor appointments he was unable to keep his job. This was very hard for him as he worked all his life sometimes 3 jobs at a time to support his wife and 3 daughters.  After many struggles he started dialysis May 2016 he finally realized they needed help and began the process of disability in 2016 which took almost a year to get approved for. Anthony spends most of his day at dialysis for treatments and has been placed on the transplant list for 2 years now! The time has come a live donor has been matched, surgery is set for the end of July!! We are asking for assistance to help get the family through this process. Everyone that knows Anthony and Millie know they have issues asking for help but with all the previous surgeries he has been through and the upcoming his medical bills are piling up any amount will help!! They are both two of the most giving loving people I know and I need your help!!!
