Katie Goes to Haiti - Nov 2017

For the past two years, my life has been filled with constant change. I have graduated from Michigan State University, traveled through eight European countries, lived in two different apartments, and even worked two different jobs in my rotational program at General Motors. Amongst the chaos, I have loved every minute!

God has blessed me in more ways than I can count. Even through the emotional struggles that have plagued my family and me, His love shines bright. And it is with great pleasure that I get to answer His call to arms. For Thanksgiving this year, I will be traveling to Haiti with Mission of Hope. During my week abroad, I will be a volunteer for the Mission of Hope Mobile Medical Clinic - taking medical care to villages throughout Haiti that do not have access to healthcare.

I am extremely excited to help such an amazing organization and I aim to make as much of a positive impact as possible. My flight to Haiti leaves on November 18th and my goal is to raise $2,500 for Mission of Hope by November 11th. Funds received will directly support the MOH Mobile Medical Clinic - purchasing supplies that help keep it operational year round.
