Missionaries of Charity-Washington, D.C.

After spending some time working alongside Mother Teresa’s Missionaries of Charity in Washington, D.C. in their homeless shelter for pregnant women, soup kitchen, and summer camp for children, I saw many areas of need and several challenges faced.  The sisters heavily rely on the community for its donations and services/time/volunteers.  The sisters were very gracious to me as a volunteer.  & I fell in love with both the sisters and the different people that I worked with there.  I wanted to start this special fundraiser to assist the sisters with their different missions and help those who are participants in the different programs.  If you feel inspired to donate to this very special cause, please do!  Your donation will go to things such as: food for homeless pregnant women and the hungry at the soup kitchen, kitchen supplies, toiletries, transportation expenses, bedding, cleaning supplies, children’s summer camp items, etc.  I will be sending funds directly to the sisters along with a shipment of items that I think are needed.  Donations will go towards both.  If you want me to specifically buy an item with your donation, I’d be happy to do that as well (and I can provide proof if requested).  I am also accepting physical donations that I can include with my shipment.  Thank-you for considering!  God Bless! ✝️
