Thank you all so much for your donations! During the very tragic events that took place, I worked daily since even hearing Marlen was missing! I am still in contact with her father. He is a great man but despite our combined decision to make this fundraising campaign, he had not realized the actions required to withdraw his money. I have came up with many ideas and he is extremely grateful but I was under the impression this campaign has been closed a good while back. He doesn’t have the bank account to accept your gracious donations, I apologize. This was a mistake by him not knowing that would be the only option. If he gives me information or input someone’s account info he trusts then he can receive this gift of kindness for him and his loved ones. I can’t imagine a family going through such tragedy and still have their kind of faith. You all meant well and it’s absolutely amazing! If you do receive your refund (deadline is in August), then he couldn’t get things worked out! I have even offered to accept on his behalf and wire the money to him but I just can’t handle the untrustworthy people around that love to act like all these fundraisers are fake! Unfortunately, there are those like that out there! This money has been here for him this whole time and will remain until I make sure he gets these funds or wait for gofundme’s deadline and your refunds issued. Again, thank you truly! It’s such a blessing to know there are great people who truly care! I just messaged him again today regarding the funds and hopefully he has a solution.
