My name is Kannen Shirley and I am currently a contestant for the Miss Teen USA Pageant to be held in Casper, WY on September 15, 2018. I am competing in the competition so that I will be able to attend college without taking out many loans. I am seeking assistance from family and friends for the title of Miss Teen USA 2019.
For the competition I will need: an introduction dress, interview attire, a nightgown dress, activewear and any other items deemed necessary. I will also need to pay a registration fee of $700 dollars. Money donated will allow me to get/pay what I need to be successful. As a supporter you will help me in developing and refining my self-esteem, leadership skills and ability to speak in public settings.
“We're all celebrating [what] empowers women who lead active, purposeful lives and encourage those in their communities to do the same,” is written on the Miss Wyoming Pageant website allowing young women to understand that they are the future.
If I am to take home scholarship funds, I will use the money to pursue a career in the medical field. I would be honored to represent the state of Wyoming and the values found throughout the state. I am excited to be a part of something greater me and in the process represent my home, Park County.
I believe that with your assistance I will be able to accomplish my goal. I look forward to representing you in the 2019 State Pageant!
