My name is Katelin Bradley. I am a graduate of Crandon High School and I just graduated from the University of Wisconsin – Stevens Point this fall with a Bachelor of Science in Soil and Land Management. I currently live Antigo, Wisconsin and work as a NMP/GPS Technician with with AgSource Laboratories. In June 2016 I was crowned Miss Rodeo Wisconsin 2017 . Miss Rodeo Wisconsin has been representing professional rodeo and the state of Wisconsin since 1962. Hosted by the Miss Rodeo Wisconsin Pageant Association Inc., a non-profit organization, the 2017 pageant was held over four days, and all the contestants were evaluated on appearance, personality, horsemanship, and knowledge. At the pageant in June, I won all four categories to earn the prestigious Miss Rodeo Wisconsin title. As your Miss Rodeo Wisconsin 2017, I am honored to be representing the sport of rodeo, my sponsors, and our wonderful state of Wisconsin, but I need your help.
Miss Rodeo Wisconsin is responsible for all her expenses throughout the year. She relies on sponsorships, donations, and fundraising to cover expenses, which includes, but is not limited to: transportation, lodging, and promotional materials. Without the help of businesses, associations, and individual donations, fulfilling my duties as Miss Rodeo Wisconsin would be extremely difficult. I am coming to you requesting support to make my year representing Wisconsin as fulfilling and successful possible. Your sponsorship of Miss Rodeo Wisconsin will further enhance the branding of your company to the great sport of rodeo, its heritage, and the western way of life.
During my reign as Miss Rodeo Wisconsin, I will be traveling throughout the state promoting the sport and my sponsors at rodeos, schools, fairs, parades, and charitable events. I will have the opportunity to meet special needs children and help them learn about rodeo and experience it first hand. Wisconsin proudly hosts over 10 professional rodeos with the attendance at each rodeo exceeding 6,000 spectators. In addition, I will also be traveling across America promoting the state of Wisconsin in Florida, South Dakota, Wyoming, Colorado, and other states. In December 2017, I will travel to the National Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas to represent Wisconsin in the 63 rd Annual Miss Rodeo America Pageant. On average, Miss Rodeo Wisconsin travels over 100,000 miles during her reign.
The sport of rodeo continues to grow and attracts about 30 million fans every year. According to Sports Business Daily, rodeo is seventh in overall attendance for major sporting events, ahead of golf and and tennis. Professional Rodeo is aired all year long on PRCA's television coverage Great American Country, the PRCA's Pro Rodeo Sports News, and ProRodeo.com as well other media outlets. Your contribution will help me reach my goals, positively impact my community, and inspire children to chase their dreams.
