I am competing to become the next Miss KAPsi for the Lambda Delta chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Incorporated at GA TECH. As your next Miss KAPsi , I plan to implement a Platform entitled S.a.D ( suicide and depression). Where I will plan programs for college students that focus on suicide and depression rates among Minority youth and teens. Did you know suicide is the 10th leading cause of death in the United States? My goal will be to develop programs that assist minority youth with handling emotions appropriately, connect youth with mental health service in their areas, bring awareness to bullying in the area and help youth build self esteem skills.
