Britney Hanniford a 16-year-old graduate of the Ocho Rios High School Class of 2017 was born in St Ann on the 27th of February 2001 from her lovely parents Enrica Peters a cosmetologist and Steve Hanniford a farmer.
Britney Hanniford enjoy dancing, singing in the shower, hanging out with friends and even talking to herself at times. She is known as a very thoughtful determined and loyal young lady “I am always thinking about others and the things I can do to make my environment a better place”. She stated. Britney Hanniford often times try to look on the positive side of things and even though second thoughts may flash through her mind causing her to think negative she always try to overcome those thoughts with positivity which is normally shown by her actions.
Britney Hanniford has attended The Ocho Rios High School for five years and it has been the foundation for the building that she is today. She was member of the dance club there she was able to learn dance moves and to show case her passion for dancing. she was also the president of the I.S.C.F club where she learnt how to be discipline and how to be good leader.
At this point Britney Hanniford aspires to become a pediatric nurse or a teacher. Pediatric nursing and teaching she describes, are her first choice because she loves children and it is her pleasure working with them in the class room or at the hospital nursing and saving lives. She also added that all her trust is in God’s hands and with God all things are possible. She wishes to continue her studies at the University of the West Indies UWI.
In pursuing her career, Britney Hanniford states that she is willing to do all the work that is required for her to be successful. She wants to make her family, her friends and of course herself proud. She wants to create history in her family where she was the first to use her resources to gain a job of her passion to help others[TC1] . She wishes to give back to the Bustamante Hospital as she is grateful for the tremendous work that has been done by doctors of this hospital to save her sister’s life and because of her love for children.
