Mind Hike in the Scottish Highlands

Tax deductible
Hello everyone!

As someone who suffers with depression and has a GAD, I can truly appreciate the work that this mental health organisation does for hundreds of thousands of people around the U.K., and it would be a triumph to be able to raise the money to participate in the Mind Hike, giving myself physically to the organisation, and for all of us to participate financially, in whatever way we are personally capable, to such an honourable cause.

Mental health is becoming an increasingly prominent issue within our societies, and although there is commendation to be had in the progress we've made with the recognition of mental health being a tangible, incapacitating force, the progress to combat it is too glacial and is not happening swiftly enough. This is where Mind comes in, to bridge the gap between the public and the already strained mental health services of the NHS, where gaining access to its provision is long and arduous. Mind is here to help you and to guide you out of whatever you're going through, no matter how insignificant or apocalyptic it may seem, which is gifted in its entirety devoid of judgement. The organisation is not just there for advice and support to those suffering however, it is here as an educator of mental illness, to demystify and to destigmatise those who are unfamiliar, so eventually we can all be each other's support, without having to rely on the charitable few.

So what's the goal? Both me and my partner intend to embark on this Mind Hike together and with all of the other fundraisers across the Scottish Highlands, that takes place this September, for which we'd need to raise £1570 (£690 participation fee pp, £95 participation fee pp),

This provides an entirely transparent account of what the company does and how the company operates around the country, including where their revenue comes from and where they allocate their funding, meaning that you know exactly where your donations are going! It also lays out the future of Mind and what they intend on achieving in the years to come alongside an ever-evolving political landscape in the sphere of public health.
