> I was born in Rusape, Zimbabwe and from early on in my childhood I have displayed an interest and knack for traditional music and instruments (ngoma, marimba, hosho and mbira). In time I formed a mbira band with my brother, Tendayi, where we met the lion of Zimbabwe, Thomas Mapfumo who took us along to play. Thanks to the love and help of our adopted father Glenn Wilson, we started our own band named Minanzi Mbira Band.

> All of these things have inspired me to share my love for ethnic instruments and fostered a deep urge in me to create a new vibe of good African music all over the world. I am looking for funds to help my band purchase some equipment so that we can expand our performances and play at different venues.
