Help Pay For Mikey's Surgery

Mikey is a 6 year old loveable and playful boxer! I first met Mikey when I brought his older brother Kal-El, who at the time was just 1 year old to the vet for various health issues. Kal-El was a very ill puppy who at one point, I did not know whether or not he would survive. While at the vet, the Doctor told me that she had seen dogs who had health issues and once they were introduced to a new puppy, they seemed to progress in their treatments. This story led me to start browsing various adoption shelters in the area in which I found Mikey, who was just 3 months old and could no longer be taken care of by the family who purchased him from a breeder. I quickly scheduled an appointment and was able to get Mikey that same day! From that moment on I loved this super rambunctious puppy.
Fast forward 6 years later to now, which the tides have turned and now Mikey suddenly fell extremely sick. Mikey has always been a very healthy dog, who has never had any health issues. However, 4 days ago he was screaming in pain and his belly was extremely bloated and hard. I have never seen Mikey like this before so I quickly rushed him to the emergency clinic at 9 pm on Sunday 5/17. After the x-ray and ultrasound of his abdomen the critical care doctor was able to quickly diagnose Mikey with multiple tumors, one of which was the size of a softball on his prostate. It also revealed several cysts on the bladder with an excessive amount of fluid. He also had a hernia, and as a result the doctor needed to neuter Mikey to prevent future recurrence of tumors. Currently the hospital is awaiting biopsy results to determine whether or not Mikey has cancer. I will know by the end of next week and will make sure to give everyone an update. After all of this, I am so blessed to say Mikey is now home and trying to recover, which is a miracle :). The doctor informed me that if I had waited any longer it would have resulted in his death.
As a result of this, my dogs and I are now struggling immensely with the extensive medical bills for Mikey. The total due is $6,830.27 and any penny would be greatly appreciated by Mikey, his brother Kal-El and myself.
