Thank you for visiting this page for my sister, brother-in-law, and their son.
On June 19, 2017, the day after Father's Day, Michael Krout was diagnosed with stage 4 glioblastoma (terminal brain cancer). We were all shocked and devastated. He's only 51 years old. Mikes been struggling emotionally and physically with this horrible disease since the diagnosis with constant appointments and treatments but fighting with all his might, determined not to give in.
Now, 7 months later, Tina is informed she has an abnormal mammogram. She went for a biopsy, and on January 30, 2018, was diagnosed with stage 1 breast cancer with some stage 2 cells present. Luckily it was caught in the early stages and prognosis should be good. She will have to have it removed and then have her lymph nodes checked to make sure it hasn't spread any. She then will have to do several radiation treatments followed by hormone treatments.
Although Tina and Mike are staying as positive as they can and doing all they can to fight this, it's still taking a toll on them and their 17-year-old son, not only emotionally and physically, but financially as well.
I am looking to raise any monies possible to help the Krout family to go towards any costs of treatments, appointments, and/or just everyday life expenses.
Mike and Tina are both wonderful people who would do anything for anybody, and this is by far the last thing they deserve.
