Mike the bedlingtonterrier needs help

Mike is a 6 year old bedlingtonterrier male that was born in Finland but is now living in southern Sweden with his owner Malin and a bedlington girl called Thilda.
As a puppy Mike was a happy wild child who loved to run and play and cuddle with his family. 
When he grew up he loved long hikes in the forest where he could run off lead and explore ”the world”. But most of all he loved sleeping next to his human with his head on the pillow.
Since sunday may 5th Mike is in intensive care at Anicura Animalhospital in Hässleholm, Sweden fighting for his life. He had a minor surgery on friday may 3rd and nobody knows what went so terribly wrong but on sunday he had a bad infection and severe sepsis. His owner Malin rushed him to the animalhospital where they immediately took him to the intensive care unit. The vets didn’t think he would survive the night. If he would have come an hour later he probably would have died in the car on his way to the hospital. He was put on iv’s, 3 different antibiotics, painkillers and some other medicins. He had to have oxygen and one extra person working just to take care of him. 
On wednesday may 8th the vets thought he was stable enough so that they could remove some dead skintissue and flush the wound to try and get some of the bacteria out of his body. This should help him fight the sepsis.
His owner was allowed to pay him a short visit but the vets still couldn’t promise he would make it.
On thursday may 9th Mike was doing much better. He even ate a bit! For the first time the vets said that things where looking brighter and that Mike probably would survive. Nobody at the animalhospital could believe what a fighter he was. It’s the Finnish sisu!!!!
His owner Malin is so happy and relieved that her boy Mike may be coming home next week if all continues to go well.
There is one big cloud in their sky. Staying at the animalhospital in intensive care costs a lot of money.  Mike has an insurance that will cover medicalexpences up to 5000€. On wednesday the bill was 4950€ . Since Mike has to stay at the hospital at least until next week Malin will have to pay about 5000€ more. That’s if 10 000€ is enough. This is money that Malin doesn’t have. She lives alone with her two dogs and works a part-time job. She simply doesn’t have this kind of money. Getting a loan from the bank isn’t an option with her income.
My heart breaks for this young girl who loves her dogs more than anything in the world. She is such a sweet girl that’s been let down far too often by far too many people in her life. 
Mike was born and he grew up in my home. I promised Malin the day she got Mike that I would be there 24/7 for them and help them in any way I can.  And I will, but I simply do not have 5000€. If I did I would pay the vet bill to the animalhospital. 
This is why I’m asking for your help. Please help a young girl to get her beloved dog back home. Thank you.
