Mike Saipaia

Mike has been dealing with diabetes for quite some time.  He has a current medical condition with one of his feet that requires him to be off of it completely for 8 weeks.  Unfortunately Mike has exhausted his sick time bank due to his diabetes.  He will not be out long enough to qualify for disability payments before getting back to work.  We tried to get him in on light duty and the company was willing to allow it, but the doctor would not approve the light duty due to the seriousness of Mike's condition.  I think it is a good idea to try to do this for any union member who may be out.  If every member of local 32 gave just $8 a piece, it would be more than enough to reach the $5000 goal.  I know not everyone will donate or can donate so I am going to start with $50.
