Mike Francis

Family and friends are lending a hand to help NW musician Mike Francis as he battles end stage kidney failure stemming from meningitis when he was 16. He was attending Lane Community College full time and using grants and student loans, but his conditioned worsened. Mike has been on renal dialysis for the past year and is now working through the steps to get on the OHSU kidney transplant list. He's looking forward to the day when he's off dialysis and able go back to school and work and to tour again. Members of Mike's Tribe are planning several music events to raise funds for current and upcoming medical and living expenses.
