Help Mighty Max Long fight cancer!
Donation protected
To our family, friends, or even strangers that stumbled upon this, I want to tell you the story of Max Michael Long, or Mighty Max as we like to call him these days. On September 8, 2017, Max turned just four years old. On October 2, 2017, Max became sick and was flown from his home in Ocean City, MD to Children's National Medical Center in Washington D.C. It was there that doctors confirmed the super villain he will battle over the coming weeks, months, and years. This super villain is B Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. Max is considered a high risk patient and will receive aggressive chemotherapy. His first cycle of treatment will be 28 days of induction The goal of this first cycle is to put his Leukemia into remission. Max will be in the hospital for the duration of this first cycle. His second cycle of treatment will last four to six months and will require weekly treatment with some extended hospital stays. He will continue to receive outpatient treatment for a total of three and a half years. Max is going to fight this cancer better than even the best superheroes ever could. While we all know he's going to come through stronger than ever, we also know that medical bills, lost income, and a lot of travel expenses are going to come through too. That's where we need your help. Please donate whatever you can to help Max continue being the superhero of our lives. Thank you for your love and support!
