Midwest Thunderbird tour to Ireland

I am extremely excited and humbled to announce that I've made the cut to be on the Midwest Thunderbirds team. This team is composed of all most 30 of the best womens rugby players in the Midwest of the Country. We have a 10 day long tour to IRELAND! My team and I are competing in  a 10s tournament that is connected to the World Cup, a social 15s match against Railway Union, and a serious 15s game against Connacht Women's select side. Making in onto this calliber of a team is another huge step in the right direction for my rugby career. I am a full time student in the fall and currently working two jobs this summer to support my rugby dreams. The trip will cost me around 1,500-1,600 dollars total. This will include my flight, kit, food, lodging, tournament fees, and tickets to watch the USA play in the World Cup. I've been trainning really hard this last year and continually been blessed with major opportunties to move forward in the rugby world. By no means do you have to feel obligated to give any money to support my trip. BUT any amount of money would seriously help me afford this trip. Rugby is a fast growing sport. However, many athletes even at the highest levels have support themselves while trainning and going to school.
