Hello Midland!
We need your help to bring the newly approved Midland Food Truck Festival to life this summer. It will be on the second Saturday of the months May, June, July, August and September at the corner of South Saginaw and Washington Streets at the old Midland Ford site.
In order to bring an event this large to fruition we are looking to you for a donation of any size to help cover start up and infrastructure costs.
We need to buy 300-400 feet of fencing, fence stakes, cement blocks, banners, flags, trash and recycle containers, signage, tents, tables and hoping to get a handful of picnic tables for folks to enjoy.
We have to bring in everything and have it all taken away at the end of each day.
The event will have live music with both an opening act and main attraction, wine, beer and cider tasting as well as full glasses and Food Trucks! We are also going to have a lot of vendors including Midland Farmer's Market vendors and other crafters, artisans, and other community vendors for you to peruse while enjoying an adult beverage and the live music. Event will be kid and dog friendly.
The proceeds of the alcohol sales will benefit Midland based non-profit 501c3 organizations. Funds raised on this campaign are going to buy infrastructure items such as banners, fencing, tents, flags and more start up costs, staffing costs, and administration costs so that the charities can avoid these associated expenses and maximize their revenue. I am a new company and really hope the community can help me get this great event off of the ground.
We are the same producers of the weekly Wednesday Circle Wine Garden so you will see some of these purchased banners, flags, tents, tickets for tasting wine, beer and cider as well as wrist bands and drink tickets used between both events. Both events utilize the same to non-profits so any funds donated will help both events succeed.
